S&O Outdoor Furniture warrants composite material furniture against cracking, splintering, rotting, and structural failure caused by defects in materials or workmanship for 20 years from the original date of purchase under normal residential use.
Composite furniture is engineered to withstand outdoor conditions and will not rot, absorb moisture, or require painting under normal use.
This warranty does not cover:
- Cosmetic changes such as minor fading or weathering from prolonged UV exposure.
- Scratches, gouges, dents, or damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper handling.
- Damage resulting from fire, excessive heat, or exposure to open flames.
- Damage caused by accidents, improper assembly, or unauthorized modifications.
- Commercial or rental use unless specifically approved in writing by S&O Outdoor Furniture.
- Damage caused by extreme weather events, including hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, or falling trees or debris.
- Normal expansion and contraction of the material due to temperature fluctuations, which is a natural characteristic of composite products and not considered a defect.
- Hardware, fasteners, and moving components used with composite furniture are warranted against manufacturing defects for 5 years, provided they are properly maintained. Surface corrosion resulting from coastal environments, road salt, pool chemicals, or improper maintenance is not covered.
